What is the Connect Center?
The Connect Center in the Mio Hub consists of Platform Settings and Connect Platforms.
Beginning in Platform Settings, follow the steps to configure settings for chat interoperability.
After platform settings have been correctly configured, visit Connect Platforms to add Mio to your organization's platforms.

Configure your admin settings for Microsoft Teams
Note that you must be the platform admin in order to configure platform settings. If you are not the platform admin, refer to the tip at the bottom of this section.
Step 1
Go to https://m.io and sign in with your admin account.
Step 2
On the left sidebar, navigate to the Connect Center.
Step 3
Click Platform Settings.
Step 4
Select How to configure Microsoft Teams for Mio. Ensure that your settings in Microsoft Teams are updated, or Mio may not work as intended.
Step 5
Tick the checkbox after your Microsoft Teams settings have been configured.
TIP: If you are not the platform admin, click invite a colleague at the bottom of the page. Mio will give you the option to input your admin's email and will send a message inviting them to set up and configure platforms.
Add your Microsoft Teams teams to Connect Platforms
Connect Platforms requires at least two platforms to proceed. In this example, we will add Microsoft Teams first.
Configure Platform Settings before proceeding to this step. Note that you will need a Microsoft Teams Global Administrator Account in order to successfully connect platforms.
Step 1
Go to https://m.io and sign in with your admin account.
Step 2
On the left sidebar, navigate to the Connect Center. Select Connect Platforms.
Step 3
Click Connect Platform next to Microsoft Teams.
Step 4
Follow the instructions to connect Microsoft Teams to Mio.
If you are a global administrator, click the button to install Mio. If you are not, share the authorization link with your organization's global administrator.
Step 5
Once you sign in with your account, Mio will request access to scopes that will allow us to see a list of teams that we will need to sync with later on. Click Accept.
For more information on the scopes we request for Microsoft Teams, see the below article:
That's it! You're now ready to either import a second platform (Zoom Team Chat, Slack, or Webex). Once a second platform is imported, you may proceed to sync channels or users for direct messaging.
Disconnect your Microsoft Teams teams from Mio
Step 1
Navigate to the Connect Center in the left sidebar. Select Connect Platforms.
Step 2
Click the three-dot icon to the right of Microsoft Teams. Select Disconnect Platform.
Step 3
Confirm the platform disconnect to unsync and delete all Microsoft Teams users from the Mio database. Note that these users will no longer be able to send messages across platforms.
