Note: Mio can only view messages in spaces/direct messages in which the app is an member. If the Mio app is not in the conversation, it won't be able to view any of its contents.

Allows us to add the bot to channels that you want to be a universal channel
Access to read your user's organizations
Allows us to read company information so we know its name, and can identify people from the same company

Why does Mio need access my company directory?
Mio needs to access your company directory to read your name, profile picture, and email to create your account and translate your messages to other platforms seamlessly.
Mio does not need to access this information about all users, just the ones in a universal channel. The only information about users that is stored are users who are members of universal channels.
Why does Mio need the titles of spaces that I'm in?
The Mio app has a feature that allows you to convert any Webex space into a universal channel. This is the only time the Mio app needs the information about your spaces. You can learn how to convert channels in this article.
What kind of actions does Mio perform on my behalf?
The Mio app only performs actions such as creating and deactivating universal channels, and inviting users to those channels.
