Background

Reactive prompts are reminders that Mio sends when cross-platform messages are not being delivered due to the sender or recipient not syncing their accounts.

If an admin enables Auto Sync and all users have a designated primary platform, each user will receive a prompt from Mio to sync their accounts for cross-platform messaging. Reactive prompts will be sent in situations where users have not successfully completed this step.

Frequently Asked Questions

If a user ignores the sync prompt but continues to attempt cross-platform messages, Mio will send a reactive prompt with every attempted message.

What happens if a synced user messages an unsynced user or vice versa?

If a successfully synced user attempts to message an unsynced user, Mio will notify the sender that the recipient is not synced. Mio will also send a reminder to the recipient.

What happens when an unsynced user tries to message another unsynced user on a different platform?

We will prompt the sender every time they try to send a message. The unsynced recipient will also receive a reactive prompt, though we will throttle the frequency of reminders.
